President Bidens' PLan to Solve Homelessness

The first question we should as is why.  Why is America and other countries experiencing a shortness of housing?

First, big corporations had record-breaking profits and money to spend, thanks to previous Administrations tax cuts and easing costly procedures and equipment.

So the corporations, private investors, both foreign and domestic and the wealthy bought up the multi-family properties ,The fourplexes, and eventually, the duplexes and single unit housing.

Sometimes the investor is a contractor or has connections.  They renovate thy units like new with higher end appliances and finishes.  Then double the rent.

The units are usually occupied and they decide IF you stay.

Second, buyers can't find houses to purchase.  Low inventory and unaffordable availability creates more renters.

Third, AIR BnB and other vacation rental sites are gobbling up the remaining rentals out there.

Remember, a landlord can rent their place on the weekends and charge more than a monthly rate.

As an added fear factor, some 

LL will only sign a month to month lease, which strips the tenant of any rights.

These are regular people and families.  This is terrible.  I had to move 3x in 2 years.  TBC...
